EVALUASI PERENCANAAN PONDASI BORE PILE DIBANDINGKAN DENGAN PONDASI TIANG PANCANG (Studi Kasus pada Proyek Light Rail Transit (LRT) Jabodetabek)

The foundation is part of the construction that functions to withstand the load on it and transmit the load into the soil. The allowable bearing capacity of the foundation must be greater than the load acting on the foundation, both static and dynamic. To find out how much efficiency a foundation is required to do a comparison of at least two foundations. In this discussion, we compare the pile foundation and bore pile foundation with a case study on the Jabodetabek LRT (light rail Transit) Project. Data was collected by means of observations and interviews in the field, as well as collecting documents needed for calculations. Comparison of piles is done by calculating the bearing capacity. The pile bearing capacity was calculated using the Meyerhoff method, while the bore pile was calculated using the Reese & Wright method. In addition to the carrying capacity, the required number of piles is also calculated. From the calculation results obtained the bearing capacity of the pile is 2537,6133 tons and the number of piles is 10 piles with a depth of 45 m. The bearing capacity of the bore pile is 1798.61 tons and the number of piles is 12 piles with a depth of 35 m.
