KAJIAN DIMENSI SALURAN PENGHUBUNG/ DRAINASE ASEM BIDARA CINA, JAKARTA TIMUR
Keywords:
Drainage capacity, Drainage dimension, FloodAbstract
The study of channel dimensions takes place in the channel connecting Asem Bidara Cina, Jatinegaram District, East Jakarta. The problem faced is the frequent flooding of residential locations, as well as part of the road surface along the Asem Bidara Cina drainage, especially in the bottleneck section of the Asem Bidara connecting channel. Bottleneck is a narrowing that occurs in the drainage wall that looks like a bottle neck, the bottleneck causes the drainage current to flow more rapidly, causing damage to the drainage wall or drainage dimensions. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to evaluate the drainage system in the area. The method used is to calculate the maximum planned flood to get the dimensions of the drainage channel. The results of the study indicate that the flooding that occurred was caused by the inability of the drainage channel due to the narrowing of the flow system to drain rainwater due to its smaller capacity of 83.15 m3/second than the planned flood discharge with a return period of 2 years, namely 86.33 m3/second, 5 years, namely 115.56 m3/second, and 10 years, namely 134.99 m3/second, as well as assessing the dimensions of the channel after the planned flood discharge is calculated.
